The 4 Steps to Success. What To Expect.
Step 1.
First and foremost, we need to identify what opportunities are out there. You'll be surprised at how many there are when you take the time to look for them. This process gives us clarity and helps us plan our path to success. Identifying opportunities can be done at any stage of your aesthetics career, whether you're just starting out or you are long-established and successful, and should be repeated on a regular basis as you develop your business.
We often get blind to opportunities that surround us, and when we are blind to them we miss out on the benefits. The Hidden Potential in Your Clinic takes you through an 'opportunity audit' and this presentation alone should help unlock huge potential for you. Get ready to be inspired and motivated!
Step 2.
In order to attract our ideal patient, we first need to research and identify our demographics. This isn't a one-size-fits-all approach. If you have that approach you may find your aesthetics business stalling, never quite seeing the success you deserve. You have to really understand who surrounds you. What is their age, gender, marital status, financial position, occupation, family life and more? All of these things affects what they will be looking for and what treatments you should be offering to meet their needs.
Once you know who is nearby and who you wish to attract you can then work on identifying their wants and needs and tailoring your treatments and marketing to resonate with them. Understanding Your Demographics is an incredibly insightful presentation that teaches you how to do this. Revisit this presentation when you want to boost your enquiries, attract new patients, and convert enquiries more effectively. It teaches you how to get into the minds of your patients to better understand them by creating avatars.
Step 3.
Investing in devices for your clinic is a huge step for any aesthetic practitioner. First of all, there's the costs involved. These things aren't cheap (and if they are, do you really want them?) Devices are a considered purchase and if you make the wrong decision and invest in something that doesn't resonate with patients, doesn't deliver the results you hoped it would and fails to earn it's keep, then you have a very expensive white elephant sitting in the corner of the room. What's even worse, it is a white elephant that costs a fortune in repayments every month. It would actually be cheaper to buy an elephant!
There is also the confusion as to what is out there. Every supplier claims to have the best device in the world. They all promise to do the same thing yet they clearly don't. Then there's the new developments and latest technologies popping up everywhere making you nervous about whether to stick with the tried and tested technologies or go with the fresh, exciting new devices.
You also have to consider who you are buying from too. The after-support is just as vital as the quality of the device, and in some cases more important. With this in mind I have used my extensive knowledge and experience of devices (yes, I used to sell them) and shared all my insider info in The Device Detective. Watching this will minimise risk and help you invest in what's right for you. It will also help you negotiate a better deal too.
Step 4.
The final step in this course is maximising what you have learned so far. We have identified the opportunities open to us, we have researched and understood who our target demographics are and we have selected the right devices to treat them. Now we need to make sure that we attract the patients, deliver outstanding results and generate more revenue.
Price lists don't work. In all my years of working with hundreds of different clinics, the most successful ones understood that they needed to present a treatment menu that inspires and motivates patients to reach out and book in.
